One of the most common embroidery jobs that come through our doors are hats and headwear. For this reason, we will use hat embroidery to work out an example of pricing.
The easiest way to price a job is to fill out an online quote request form or call our office at (986) 777-9466. If you'd like to estimate pricing on your own, use the pricing formula and below table to work out an approximate price for your embroidery job.
For a quick approximation of the amount of stitches your design will need, use this simple equation: Multiply the length by the width, then multiply that by 2. Then multiply that number again, this time by 1000. That will give you the approximate amount of total stitches. For example: 1 1/2” x 2” logo would be 1.5 x 2 = 3 inches, then 3 x 2 = 6. So that design will require about 6000 stitches.
Let's say your logo is 5,000 stitches and you would like to get 60 hats embroidered. Simple to price. $10.00 per hat embroidery, which equates to $600. Add to that the materials cost, which varies depending on your hat choice.
We also offer FREE DIGITIZING on orders of 60 pieces or more.
- 12 piece minimum for wholesale pricing. Orders below that are sold at retail price and incur additional set up fees. Contact us for individual garment pricing.
- We can do embroidery in various locations on a hat including: center front, offset to either front panel, either side or both, and rear. Additional embroidery locations will incur additional price.
- Artwork must be provided. Vector SVG/EPS/AI/PDF or Layered 300dpi PSD at actual print size in inches. If you need artwork services we can help with that.
- We can mix and match hat colors/sizes/styles/thread colors at no extra charge, as long as the logo is in the same location on all hats.
- Up to 15 colors per hat is possible.
- Standard production time is 5-10 business days from the time of payment. A deposit of 1/2 the total bill is required up front. Estimate of production time is given at time of order.

Digitizing is the process where your logo/text is converted into actual stitch paths for the embroidery machine to use to sew. This is not the same as having a vector file or cad file. There is a completely different process involved. Different companies, given a graphic to digitize, may and often will come up with completely different digitized versions.
There is a one-time digitizing fee of $40 on embroidery jobs.. Fees are waived on orders of 60 garments or more. Contact us to get a quote on your specific digitizing price.
We can sew up to a 19" x 15" field. The overall size depends on the proportions of your logo. Feel free to contact us if you have a special requirement.
Our turnaround time for embroidery is typically 5-10 Business days. Sometimes we can expedite that even further. We generally give you an estimated time frame upon ordering.
Yes, however pricing on one garment is priced retail and applicable digitizing fees will apply.
Center Front is 5.5" wide x 2" high. Offset front panel is 2.75" wide x 2" high. We can sew 270 degrees on a hat without taking it off the machine, (roughly ear to ear).
No. Our machines have 200 million stitch memory capacity, and we can embroider hundreds of thousands of stitches on a single design.
Yes. There is an additional cost, and not all logos will work for this. This method works best on logos or designs with wider lettering and graphics. Thin lettering or too large of a filled area does not turn out very well.
Unfortunately, no. Hat bills are embroidered before they are assembled into an actual hat. Once the hat is put together, a machine will not embroider through the bill.
Yes, 15 colors is the max we can do per design. Most logos don't have any more than 5 colors in them, so it's never really been an issue for us or our clients.
